CalcNova is built by an independent developer enthusiastic about creating quality free tools and content on the Internet. The main purpose of this website is to provide a comprehensive collection of free online calculators for ease of public use.
The calculators on this site are grouped into 4 sections: financial, fitness & health, math, and others. The financial section — 71 calculators covering mortgages, loans, investing, retirement and taxes — is complete; the remaining sections are being built out to the same standard. All of the calculators were developed in-house, from the underlying formulas up. More than 90% of them are based on well-known formulas or equations from textbooks and public sources, such as the mortgage calculator or the BMI calculator. Where a formula has more than one popular form, we show the results of all popular formulas, as can be seen in the Ideal Weight Calculator. Every financial calculator on this site was verified figure-by-figure against published reference results before release, and each page explains the math it uses, so a result can always be checked by hand.
CalcNova is owned and operated by its creator. The site is free to use, with no registration required — every calculator works the moment the page loads.
